Droid Repair Shop (Yavin 4)

A Droid Repair Shop was located on Yavin 4, a moon of the planet Yavin. The shop had shelves containing used droid parts such as heads. It was used by the New Republic in 5 ABY to prepare the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 for a covert mission to the planet Kessel. The Jedi Luke Skywalker attempted to reassure C-3PO's apprehension towards the mission while examining droid parts in the shop.

He selected an evil-looking droid head for C-3PO to use as a disguise, but the droid disliked its green color. Skywalker overuled the droid's objections and used an inter-office communications device to summon the Droid Modification Team, a group of 2-1B surgical droids, to complete C-3PO's disguise. The droids returned with R2-D2, whom they had already modified to resemble a Kessel mining droid, and took C-3PO away. The modifications took an hour to implement and, afterward, Skywalker and the droids left the Droid Repair Shop to attend a mission briefing.
