Aeten II, also simply known as Aeten, was a volcanically turbulent planet located in Wild Space in grid square J-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid. A terrestrial planet, Aeten II held the second orbital position in the Aeten system. It was known for its rare stygium crystals, a type of crystal that could power a starship's stealth systems.
During the era of the Galactic Republic, scientists discovered the existence of stygium crystals on Aeten II, which proved previously theoretical designs for a cloaking device as feasible.
