Cols

Cols was an astronomical object located in the Cols system within the Kastolar sector of the Mid Rim and the Slice. It was situated in grid square Q-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid. At one point, Cols was under the control of the Galactic Republic.

By 228 BBY, during the High Republic Era, however, Cols had come under the control of the Hutt Clan. That year, Republic Commander Velko Jahen notified Jedi Master Elzar Mann of the clan's recent losses and told him that the Republic Defense Coalition expected to retake Cols within a matter of weeks. In response, Mann informed Jahen they could possibly no longer have that amount of time due to the potential of an alliance being formed by the Hutt Clan and the Nihil marauders.
