Ottega

Ottega was a celestial body located in the Ottega system, which featured the Ithorian sun and was situated in the Ottega sector in the Mid Rim Territories and the New Territories as part of grid square M-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid. Ottega lay on the Celanon Spur hyperspace route that linked it to the astronomical object Genassa as well as the Outer Rim Territories celestial body Tsevuka.

Ottega shared its name with the location known as the Port of Ottega as well as the Ottegan silk textile, the Ottegan charbake smelt necklace, and the article of clothing known as the Ottegan fibrion scarf. Praster Ommlen, a monk of the Sacred Order of Ramulus and one-time weapons smuggler who was active in the wider galaxy by 34 ABY and was an Ottegan—a member of a genetic offshoot species of the Ottega system's Ithorians—hailed from Ottega.
