Perithal was a terrestrial astronomical object in the Perithal system of the Inner Rim Territories which the New Republic Senator Wyl Lark visited around 11 ABY, before he traveled over to Spirana to meet Yrica Quell and Chass na Chadic, who he had fought with as a New Republic pilot in the Galactic Civil War six years before.
During the Clone Wars between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic, the guerrilla fighter Nankry fought the Confederacy on the Perithal front, at one point slitting the throat of her colony's Separatist governor. Nankry later joined Saw Gerrera's Partisans.
