Talay

Talay was an astronomical object located in an eponymous star system within an intersecting portion of the Mid Rim Territories and the Slice. Situated in the Dufilvan sector at the coordinates Q-16 on the Standard Galactic Grid, it served as an operations headquarters for an organized rebellion against the Galactic Empire secretly led by Senator Mon Mothma, by 2 BBY. Talay's status in the rebellion was noted in a map of the galaxy that was sent to Mothma in 2 BBY, listing rebel safe worlds, starfighter hubs at level five or higher, operations headquarters, shadow planets, and deep space caches. Archivist Hendri Underholt later included the map in the compilation of non-electronic documents known as The Rebel Files.
