Vanzeist

Vanzeist was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Suolriep sector's Vanzeist system, within an intersecting portion of the Outer Rim Territories and the Slice regions. Situated at the coordinates S-8 on the Standard Galactic Grid, it was where the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry celebrated a victory against the Galactic Empire sometime by 3 ABY. During that year, Prelate Verge, a member of the Imperial Ruling Council, promised the Imperial Lieutenant Kourterel that a detail of stormtroopers would be sent to protect his family from members of the Alliance on Vanzeist. Later in 3 ABY, First Sergeant Hazram Namir remembered the celebration on the world while recollecting occasions in the 61st following the funeral of the company's captain, Micha Evon.
