Coppergrins were a species of copper-colored, black-eyed scalefin fish found in the oceans of the planets Corellia and Ahch-To. The fish were caught by the Lanai on Ahch-To; on Corellia, they were sold in the fishmarkets of Coronet City.
In around 34 ABY, the Lanai Caretakers had four coppergrins strung up on a drying rack in the Jedi village on Ahch-To when the Jedi Rey fired a blaster through the wall of the village hut she was staying in.
