Cygnat

Cygnats were small biting pests native to the planet Thisspias in the Expansion Region. They could be deterred by dense hair, such as the beard of Thisspiasian Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis. Almost two hundred years before the Galactic Civil War, a group of terrorists who assassinated the Blood Monarch of Thisspias wore something similar to a cygnat symbol. Because of that, when anti-monarchist abolitionist factions of Thisspiasians began wearing cygnat pins during the Galactic Civil War, it concerned even some moderate members of the species.
