Ebon hawk

The ebon hawk was a type of hawk. They were known to prey on the skittermouse, a creature found on the Inner Rim desert planet Jakku, which the birds would catch in their talons. During her mission to the planet Batuu in 34 ABY, Resistance spy Vi Moradi compared the Batuuan residents believing that they were safe from the First Order to an unaware skittermouse that was being preyed on by an ebon hawk when speaking to the farmers Grana and Dolin, likening the presence of a First Order Star Destroyer to a hawk overhead.
