Heat-fly

Heat-flies were a type of fly that lived on Elphrona, a hot Outer Rim planet. The flies featured large, compound eyes that were visibly similar to those of Cyclorrians, a sentient insectoid species. During his training at Elphrona's Jedi outpost in the High Republic Era, Jedi Padawan Bell Zettifar often noticed heat-flies buzzing through its halls. While aboard the Elite-class research vessel Innovator in 231 BBY, Zettifar mentally compared the eyes of the Cyclorrian technicians working there to the flies he had noticed on Elphrona.
