The jamels were a yellow-skinned, quadrupedal creature native to the planet Utapau. The creature had tall, spindly legs, a large hump on their backs, and a drawn-out face with a red snout. Jamels were used as beasts of burden by the Utapau Amani. During the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker found a jamel near an Amani village during their mission to Utapau and used it to pull a cart carrying a massive kyber crystal.
