Utapau plains quadruped

A species of large, gray, non-sentient quadrupeds was native to the plains of the planet Utapau. These grass-eating creatures were plated in armor on their dorsal side as a protection against predator attacks from above. They were likely raised by the Amani for food and their skins, which may had been used to make village tents. During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker tried to tame several members of the species in order to use one as beast of burden to transport a large Kyber crystal. The beasts paid no attention to him however and then ran off, forcing the Jedi to use a jamel to transport the crystal.
