Korgee beasts were a species of creature found on the planet Cato Neimoidia. They had four short, stumpy legs, large bodies—taller than 1.82 meters—covered in fur, and black noses. They ate meat, and while they were typically docile creatures, they were known to become more aggressive when in a state of hunger.
In 22 BBY, a korgee beast attempted to attack and feast upon Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was investigating a recent bombing of the Cadesura district of Cato Neimoidia's capital city, Zarra. Neimoidian Royal Guardswoman Ruug Quarnom shot the beast with her sniper rifle to defend Kenobi, then provided medical aid to it using a medpac and laser sutures while her partner, Royal Guardsman Ketar Nor, fed it rations. Nor then threw a ration into the distance, luring the korgee beast away from the trio. Later, Kenobi returned to the site of the disaster to investigate a mysterious bunker, and tossed several hunks of raw meat away from himself to lure multiple korgee beasts away.
