Mantabog

The mantabog was a creature native to the planet Malastare. They shared their name with the Mantabog Crevice Rally, a podracing course that had been set up by around 10 BBY. By around 9 ABY, the mantabog was extinct and was one of several creatures on display at the Holographic Museum of Extinct Animals on the planet Coruscant. Around that year, a cabbie droid driving Doctor Penn Pershing from the Galaxies Opera House to Amnesty Housing on Corsuscant advised the doctor, who was new to the world, to take a day trip to the museum, as the droid had found several of the creatures there fascinating. The droid began to tell Pershing about the mantabog, but was interrupted by their arrival at their destination.
