Targons were a species of giant cats that possessed thick fur, tufted ears, four eyes, and tufted tails. Despite being a predator species, they had low-level empathic abilities. Lina Soh, Chancellor of the Galactic Republic during the High Republic Era, owned two pet targons, Matari and Voru, who accompanied her wherever she went.
