Unidentified Bosph species

A sentient species inhabited the planet Bosph. In 3 BBY, the Galactic Empire attempted to commit genocide on the species when its Imperial Navy repeatedly carried out large-scale orbital bombardment of their homeworld, enacting an ongoing quarantine on those that survived. In response, the species chose to dis-remember the Empire, refusing to acknowledge that the state ever existed as what was considered a grave insult in the species' society. In 35 ABY, the historian Beaumont Kin mentioned the species in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire. Despite generally encouraging readers to seek out accounts of Imperial atrocities from the victims themselves, Kin stated that the species' choice to disremember the Empire and remain silent on the matter should be respected.
