Vworkka were a species of carnivorous raptor native to the desert planet Jakku that preyed upon skittermice. Vworkka would perch silently and patiently waiting for their prey. When the child Gallius Rax saw the corvette Imperialis landing on Jakku in around the year 30 BBY, it reminded him of a vworkka. In the year 5 ABY, the skittermouse that accidentally re-activated the battle droid Mister Bones hoped that it would not be eaten by a vworkka or ripper-raptor while doing so.
