Aculeus

The Aculeus was a Mandator III-class dreadnought that was part of the navy of the Galactic Empire and its short-lived successor, the Dark Empire. The vessel was one of five Mandator III-class dreadnoughts to be part of the Dark Empire's attack on the New Republic–controlled Core Worlds in 10 ABY. Although the Imperial assault was initially quite successful, various Imperial factions turned on one another in a mad frenzy known as the Imperial Mutiny. As part of that conflict, which also occurred in 10 ABY, the Aculeus was destroyed in battle with squadrons of TIE/D automated starfighters at the world Drearia.
