Ares Nune's task force

A task force of three Republic Navy Venator-class Star Destroyers was under the command of Jedi General Ares Nune during the Clone Wars. During the Malevolence Campaign in 22 BBY, After the destruction of several Republic fleets by the Separatist Alliance warship and flagship of General Grievous, Malevolence, Jedi General Plo Koon of the Fourth Fleet dispatched multiple Venator-class Star Destroyers to locate and destroy the new Separatist superweapon.

Nunes and their task force discovered the vessel in the Inner Rim's, Phu system. where Grievous had transmissions blocked and attacked the task force, which resulted in Nune's Venator-class cruiser and its two escort Venators being destroyed. The Galactic Republic subsequently discovered the loss, and Jedi General Plo Koon tracked down the Malevolence to the Abregado system, where his task force was also destroyed.
