Arkanoid

The Arkanoid was a Zeta-class long-range shuttle in service to the Galactic Empire.

Scavenged by the Zabrak P'laang Ri from the Empire, the Zeta-class shuttle was borrowed by the Human Han Solo shortly after the Battle of Yavin to infiltrate and steal an Imperial shipment from Zoma Station. Having left his personal starship the Millennium Falcon with the indebted Ri on Siskeen for safekeeping, Han Solo, accompanied by the Wookiee Chewbacca and fellow Human smuggler Avik Lore, piloted the Arkanoid to Zoma Station.

As it departed from Siskeen, the Zeta-class shuttle—noted by Solo to be far smaller than the Millennium Falcon—had its hydraulics conduit burst at the beginning of the hyperspace voyage to Zoma Station, leading to a cabin filled with what Solo thought was the unpleasant scent of "wet Wookiee fur."

Eager to leave the Imperial shuttle, Han Solo beamed a transmission via comlink to Zoma Station upon the Arkanoid return to realspace, attempting to secure permission to board with authorization codes obtained by Avik Lore on the black market prior. Without any Imperial entanglements, the Arkanoid was allowed to land on the station as the latter's tractor beam activated and led the Zeta-class into its docking bay.

Ultimately, Han Solo's mission was a success; the smuggler and his first mate Chewbacca left Zoma Station and later retrieved the Millennium Falcon from P'laang Ri.
