Fortieth Flotilla

The Fortieth Flotilla was a unit in the Republic's navy. During the Waymancy Storm, it saw action at Sooncanoo Beacon. During the battle, the crew attempted to increase the power of their ships' deflector shields, but failed, stranding them in space without power. The enemy seized the opportunity, killing every member of the flotilla. Their sacrifice was later remembered—25 years later—in a speech given by Chancellor Nagratha.
