The Profusion was a Lucrehulk-class battleship that served within the naval forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Measuring 3,356.9 meters in length, 3,009 meters in width and 1,028.77 meters in height, the battleship was equipped with several droid signal receiver stations.
In 19 BBY, the Profusion took part in an unprecedented assault on Coruscant, the capital world of the Galactic Republic in the Core Worlds, alongside a massive Separatist fleet commanded by Kaleesh General Grievous in his attempts to capture the Republic's leader, Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. However, following his escape from his flagship, the Providence-class Dreadnought Invisible Hand, Grievous was recovered by the Profusion aboard an escape pod. While aboard the Profusion, the Kaleesh ordered his remaining forces to withdraw.
