The Serenade was a heavy cruiser that served among the New Republic's fleet during the Galactic Civil War. Taking part in the New Republic's attack on the Galactic Empire's loyalist forces at the planet Jakku, it was destroyed by the Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. When looking into the Serenade loss, the New Republic General Hera Syndulla discovered what the 204th was doing above Jakku.
