The Stellar Halo was a battlecruiser that served as part of the Imperial-aligned Kuati Sector Forces during the Galactic Civil War, in which the Galactic Empire fought the Alliance to Restore the Republic and later its successor state, the New Republic. Along with the rest of the Kuati Sector Forces, the Stellar Halo guarded the shipyards of the planet Kuat. Rebel forces attacked Kuat in 8.5 ABY, managing to take control of Kuat even with the protection of the Kuati Forces. In the wake of the battle, undercover Imperial agents activated the Stellar Halo hyperdrive, sending it into Kuat's sun and destroying it.
