The Tycoon Trader was a cargo cruiser piloted by the pilot droid RL-18 during the High Republic Era. RL-18 flew the Trader to transport glitterstim for Bala Waleen and the Hutt Cartel during the High Republic Era. Bala hired his former girlfriend Lourna Dee, without knowing it was her, to protect spice shipments from hijacking by Nihil marauders.
The Trader was pulled out of hyperspace by a Nihil gravity mine in the Abrion sector when it was raided by Pan Eyta's Tempest. RL-18 panicked when the Nihil launched war cloud gas torpedoes to disable the ship. Lourna Dee engaged Jinix's storm when they boarded the vessel and withstood their gas weapons.
