Cruciform Verpine ratchet

Cruciform Verpine ratchets were a type of ratchet made by the Verpine species. The scavenger Rey began carrying cruciform Verpine ratchets and Mon Calamari hex-clamps after finding herself in an X-wing starfighter on the desert planet Jakku where she was unable to salvage a cache of batteries because she lacked the implements. For at least two years she carried the ratchets in a bag of quick-switch modulars that she kept in her satchel and included them on a list of her tools in a survival guide she compiled by 34 ABY.
