Mon Calamari hex-clamp

Mon Calamari hex-clamps, also written as Mon Calamari hex clamp, were a type of clamp made by the Mon Calamari species. The scavenger Rey began carrying Mon Calamari hex-clamps and cruciform Verpine ratchets after finding herself in an X-wing starfighter on the desert planet Jakku where she was unable to salvage a cache of batteries because she lacked the implements. For at least two years she carried the clamps in a bag of quick-switch modulars that she kept in her satchel and included them on a list of her tools in a survival guide she compiled by 34 ABY.
