Nuclear weapons, or alternatively nuclear bombs, nuclear missiles, nuclear warheads, or nuclear devices were powerful explosives whose power derived from nuclear reactions and were capable of ruining entire neighborhoods or cities. The bombs left residual radiation after their detonation.
