A power regulator was a component that could be added to a VM-19 heavy blaster pistol. In 3 ABY, the pirate Hondo Ohnaka stole a prototype power regulator from the Rokana Raiders that would push ion circuits beyond their designed limits. He later gave the item to Kay Vess after they escaped the raider's base in the Khepi Tomb who used it upgrade her blaster pistol.
