Pip-Squeak was a MSE series maintenance droid that was given to an Akivan child who later passed away. Following his death, Pip-Squeak stopped turning on, and in 3 ABY, the child's mother traveled to the Akivan city Myrra hoping to get her repaired by the Rodian droidsmith known as "the Toymaker," who originally gave the family Pip-Squeak.
