Unidentified Weequay technician

A Weequay technician operated a moisture farm in the Great Chott salt flat region of the Outer Rim planet Tatooine during the Imperial Era. The weequay had grey skin, blue eyes, and spoke Galactic Basic. By 3 ABY, the weequay employed an astromech droid to communicate with the farm's moisture vaporator. However a group of Jawas later stripped a number of components from the astromech droid leaving it unable to communicate with the vaborators. Due to their failing eye sight they were unable to fix the droid themselves.

That year, the technician recruited the scoundrel Kay Vess to repair the astromech droid. Using ND-5, Vess's BX-series droid commando companion, as a translator, the droid's that its processes were malfunctioning and suggested that the scoundrel shot it with an ion blaster to reset its systems. Vess agreed and used the ion module of her blaster to shot the droid with an ion bolt. She then returned to the Weequay who rewarded her for her assistance.
