Unidentified Yuuzhan Vong leader (Chashima)

This Yuuzhan Vong warrior was on the planet Chashima during the latter years of the Yuuzhan Vong War. In 29 ABY, he was the largest member and leader of a group of Yuuzhan Vong warriors that pursued Estoric Sandskimmer and Hohass Ekwesh, members of the Galactic Alliance commando unit Wraith Squadron, as they escaped from a shapers' compound on the planet with a stolen commbuzzer, a bioweapon that the Yuuzhan Vong planned to use against the Galactic Alliance. The warriors threw thud bugs at the fleeing Wraiths, striking Sandskimmer and causing him to fall to the ground and drop the bioweapon, allowing the warriors to catch up to them. As Ekwesh stood his ground with a vibroblade to protect his injured companion, the leader of the warriors directed the youngest warrior and the second largest warrior to engage the Wraiths as a training exercise.

The skirmish began when the youngest warrior charged the defenseless Sandskimmer while Ekwesh threw a cloud of glittering dust that temporarily blinded him. This opening allowed the second largest warrior to strike Ekwesh across the midsection with his amphistaff. Unbeknownst to the Yuuzhan Vong warriors, another Wraith Squadron commando, Voort saBinring, was positioned some distance away with a blaster rifle equipped with a grenade launcher. saBinring fired a grenade at the leader, killing him instantly by blowing off his head.
