Mission to Chashima

The Mission to Chashima took place in 29 ABY on the planet Chashima. Members of the Galactic Alliance commando group Wraith Squadron—Estoric Sandskimmer, Hohass Ekwesh and, Voort saBinring—infiltrated the Yuuzhan Vong shapers' compound to steal a new bioweapon developed by the Vong, which the invaders planned to use against the Galactic Alliance.

The infiltration was successful, and Sandskimmer and Ekwesh escaped the compound with the weapon called a Commbuzzer, but they were soon chased down by Yuuzhan Vong warriors, forcing them to fight. During the confrontation, Sandskimmer was impaled through the heart by one of the warriors' amphistaffs and died. Ekwesh also died during the battle after being poisoned an amphistaff and having to be mercy-killed by saBingring by shooting him in the head with a blaster.
