Battle of Nagi

The Battle of Nagi was waged during the Fenril crisis when the Nagai rebellion brought their battle to their homeworld of Nagi after escaping the Fenril Consortium world of Kaltrais. After facing years of slavery and abuse, the Nagai formed an underground revolutionary movement spearheaded by smuggler Garlev. After agents of the nascent New Republic became aware of this insurrection through their dealings with the Fenril Consortium, the Zantarrk Gang, and Kezrin Almovar, they aided it on Kaltrais. The insurrection there ended with freed Nagai slaves stealing massive amounts of ships and departing for Nagi, where they could link up with the rest of their freed comrades revolting against the Fenril Consortium. The ultimate goal of the Nagai rebellion was to retake their ancestral planet, regaining their freedom.
As the battle raged, the New Republic heroes led the group of Nagai back to Nagi in the Millennium Falcon, but were intercepted by pirate forces in orbit. After exchanging fire with the pirates, the Falcon crashed into a battle on the surface, and its occupants were united with the Nagai rebels. Splitting up, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker accompanied Nagai rebel leader Jesrit and New Republic pilot Rynn Zenat as they set off to get medical attention for the dying Zenat, while Han Solo, Beilert Valance, and Agent Bastion went towards Siva to track down Reyna Oskure– leader of the occupation. Skywalker, Zenat, and Jesrit were attacked while in transit, resulting in Jesrit and Zenat being captured and brought to Oskure's throne in the Nagai Royal Palace, where the Anzati taunted them before being distracted by Solo's party's infiltration of the palace.
Skywalker, left in the wastes of Nagi, ran until fainting from exhaustion– but was awoken by Tuula, daughter of Garlev. The two were united under the cause of saving Jesrit, and departed for Siva as well. Meanwhile, Zantarrk leader Gallana Venk was sent to destroy Solo's group, but was killed in the process by the cyborg bounty hunter Beilert Valance. This led to Solo, Valance, and Bastion going up against countless Zantarrk stormtroopers. After tracking Oskure's location, Bastion was killed, but the information she gained led Solo and Valance to Oskure, who was trying to escape the planet– as her pirate forces blockaded the world in orbit. In response to an earlier call for aid from Solo, Senator Leia Organa sent Kith Alaytia and a New Republic task force to Nagi to aid the Nagai in their battle. The Republic fleet intended to resolve this peacefully, but would fire if fired upon.
Back on the surface, Solo, Valance, Skywalker, and Tuula arrived just as Oskure's shuttle was being loaded, and brought the fight to the sorceress. Blaster bolts were exchanged between the New Republic heroes and the Zantarrk stormtroopers in a firefight that ended with Skywalker and Oskure fighting each other individually. The Anzati witch's claws proved effective, but the young Jedi's mastery of The Force was the superior technique, allowing him to hold her still while he placed the Crown of Verity on her head. This Jedi artifact forced its wearer to only speak the truth, and while wearing the crown, Oskure revealed that her entire fleet was rigged to self-destruct, which would allow her to take the entire New Republic fleet and everyone on the surface with it.
