Fenril crisis

The Fenril crisis was a conflict that arose in the early days of the New Republic Era and escalated to combat due to the machinations of the Anzati Sorceress and former Acolyte of the Beyond, Reyna Oskure. Some time after the Battle of Jakku, just before a pivotal trade summit, the planets of the Fenril sector grew dissatisfied of the New Republic's inability to defend supply shipments from pirate attacks. Seeing the New Republic's actions so far as those of a bully attempting to mask their lack of power, especially following Ubrik Adelhard's last stand, Pirrosi Prime Minister Kezrin Almovar met with Chancellor Mon Mothma and Senator Leia Organa to declare this as an attack began on New Republic trading vessel Nechrim's Wake.

The Fenril sector then isolated itself as the Fenril Consortium, which was also secretly aligned with Gallana Venk's Zantarrk Gang, many of whom were Nagai, who were causing chaos near the Fenril Sector. While the New Republic's forces were investigating the Consortium, its fleet began approaching New Republic space. In order to combat this new enemy in time and help free the Nagai from their oppression, New Republic hero Han Solo, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, pilot Rynn Zenat, and bounty hunter Beilert Valance, led their forces against the Fenril Consortium and joined up with the Nagai rebellion on Kaltrais, which led to the Battle of Nagi. While the battle raged and a New Republic fleet arrived, Luke Skywalker defeated Reyna Oskure just as she activated her many vessels' self-destruct sequences, trapping and damaging the New Republic's forces around and on Nagi and raining debris on the surface. The battle continued there, but was stopped by the arrival of Mothma and Organa announcing the New Republic's support of Nagi and the Nagai– at the behest of the people of Pirros. Finally, Zenat used the Crown of Verity to subdue and weaken Oskure, defeating her and her coalition and freeing the Nagai.
