A battle was fought between the forces of the New Republic, under Admiral Ackbar, and Warlord Treuten Teradoc's Greater Maldrood at the planet Thanos in 8.5 ABY. After Teradoc tried to claim some of Zsinj's territory for his own, Ackbar's forces drove Teradoc back and put him on the defense. Ackbar defeated Teradoc soundly at Thanos, ultimately leading to the collapse of Teradoc's warlord ambitions in the Mid Rim.
