The Core Campaign was the military campaign launched by the New Republic in 6 ABY to capture the galactic capital of Coruscant. As a culmination of their multiple campaigns over the last two years following the Battle of Endor, the Core Campaign resulted in the liberation of the planet Coruscant, causing the Galactic Empire to effectively flee.
