Mission to Bimmisaari

A diplomatic mission to the Mid Rim planet Bimmisaari was undertaken by Han and Leia Organa Solo in 9 ABY. However, the mission was never carried out as a Bimm traitor used the Solos' presence on Bimmisaari to attempt to hand them over to Thrawn's confederation. After informing the confederation—led by Grand Admiral Thrawn, a team of at least eight Noghri Death Commandos member of Team Eight attacked the visitors at the planet's marketplace. However, some of the Noghris present there were killed by the Solos. At the same time, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, who had also traveled to the planet, killed several Noghri who held him prisoner and rushed to the Solos' rescue. When Skywalker arrived at their location, Solo's starship, the Millennium Falcon shot at the Noghris, eliminating the ones that were still alive after Solo killed most, ending the attack on the visitors, and bringing the attempt to capture the Solos to an end.
