Mission to Ryvester

The Mission to Ryvester was a covert operation conducted by Wraith Squadron, a New Republic commando unit, on the planet Ryvester in 13 ABY. The Wraiths arranged a meeting between Imperial Admiral Kosh Teradoc and Captain Hachat, the alias of Garik Loran, who posed as ship captain seeking a partner to recover riches from The Palace of Piethet Brighteyes, which he claimed to have discovered. To convince Teradoc of the treasure's authenticity, Loran presented a gemstone statuette that had been examined by the gemstone scientist Mulus Cheems, a prisoner whom Teradoc had brought to the meeting. Unbeknownst to Teradoc, the statuette was made from a modified form of anthracite, a powerful explosive material.

When Teradoc attempted to double cross Hachat by abducting him for interrogation, Loran signaled the other undercover Wraiths, who had infiltrated the club as employees. A brief skirmish followed, during which the Wraiths subdued Teradoc's bodyguards before escaping aboard the admiral's yacht with Cheems. Teradoc fled separately with the rigged gemstone statuette, bringing it back to his personal vault within the Imperial Navy base on the planet, where it later detonated as part of the Wraiths' deception.
