Baran-Bai

Baran-Bai was a location that was home to the lesser leaf viper and its cousin, the elder viper. According to the Theelin-human Jedi Padawan Jecki Lon, the lesser leaf viper was significantly more deadly than the elder viper, though had an appearance that made it no more interesting than that of a rock worm. In 134 BBY, during the High Republic Era, before Lon took part in the dueling tournament portion of the Crowning Convocation on the planet Siline, her opponent told her she looked even smaller when he was up close to her. In response, the Padawan told him about the vipers of Baran-Bai.
