The Er'Kit system was a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Noonian sector. It was situated on the Braxant Run hyperlane and contained the planet Er'Kit, the homeworld of the sentient Er'Kit species. The system was a member of the Galactic Republic and later the Galactic Empire, and in 0 BBY, the Imperial Death Star battle station passed through it on the way to the planet Alderaan. In the years following the Battle of Endor, the Er'Kit system was a part of several Imperial factions, including the Imperial Remnant, and eventually the system was conquered by the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong invaders.
