The Galtea Binary system was a binary star system located within the Outer Rim Territories' Kathol Outback region. The system's twin suns emitted radiation fields that could mask a starship from discovery by sensors.
When the New Republic corvette FarStar was attacked in the nearby Galtea system by forces loyal to former Moff Kentor Sarne, the corvette escaped to the binary system, where repairs were carried out on the starship. While in-system, the FarStar crew discovered that the ship's captain, Kaiya Adrimetrum, who had been rendered comatose during the attack, had been covertly poisoned by a saboteur present aboard the ship. The corvette then traveled to the nearby planet Sebiris in order to discover the source of the toxin afflicting Adrimetrum.
