Herglic Space was a sector of the galaxy located in the Colonies and the Interior. It contained the Kooda system and the Giju system, both of which were located in grid square L-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid. The Giju system contained the planet Giju and was part of the Giju Run, Herglic Alley, and Rimma Trade Route hyperspace routes.

In 0 ABY, three members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic's Red Squadron escorted a transport full of underground rebel leaders off Giju and through the Giju system, engaging a patrol of Imperial TIE fighters and its reinforcements before the transport and then the X-wings successfully departed the system. Herglic Space shared its name with the sentient Herglic species.
