The Koiogra system was located in the Grohl sector within the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It was situated on the super-hyperroute known as the Triellus Trade Route, which linked it to the Molavar and Piroket systems.
By 3637 BBY, the Human Republic Navy slicer Kendra Novar, who hailed from the Koiogra system, popularized the naming of the starship maneuver known as the Koiogran turn after her home system. By the time of Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn's campaign against the New Republic in 9 ABY, the Koiogra system lay in space affiliated with Thrawn's confederation of Imperial factions.
