Northern Dependencies

The Northern Dependencies were a region of the galaxy that had been long-settled and generally looked outward.

It consisted of locations north of Coruscant and the Perlemian Trade Route on the galactic plane, but only to the far reaches of the Inner Rim. Inclusive in the area was Nouane, Inner Rim worlds along the Hydian Way such as Bogden, and planets such as Bilbringi and Carratos on the Namadii Corridor. The western boundary of this region was an area known as The Negs.

Inhabitants of the Northern Dependencies did not think much of the Core Worlds from which they originated; having being stereotyped as mighty spacers, merchants and businessmen, they held in contempt the Arrowhead's preoccupation with bureaucracy, politics and self-importance, rather their focus looked to opportunities outward, along the Hydian, and towards the New Territories.
