The Zavian Abyss was a hazardous area of space in the Ghost Nebula sector in the Expansion Region, located along the Great Kashyyyk Branch hyperspace route between Umbara and the Couronne system. A maelstrom of electricity filled with asteroids, the Zavian Abyss contained numerous wrecked starships, including the wreckage of an old Venator-class Star Destroyer. After the Battle of Endor, Vanguard Squadron and the Starhawk ambushed the Overseer in the Zavian Abyss.
