Shadowsilk

Shadowsilk was a form of synthetic silk created by the chemists of Ayelixe/Krongbing Textiles after they studied the properties of the fur of the Defel, a species with the ability to bend light around their bodies to make themselves practically invisible. Members of the Sakiyan species, who used the silk of the umbraspider to make shadowsuits that also made the wearer practically invisible, claimed that the umbraspider's silk was superior to shadowsilk.
