Gossam Commandos

The Gossam Commandos were a private security force, active in the Commerce Guild's Punitive Security Forces. Providing protection for the corporation's operations, as one of its organic units alongside the Sullustan Home Guard, it was composed of heavily armored security officers. When the Clone Wars happened, between 22 BBY and 19 BBY, the Commerce Guild had sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems in opposition of the Galactic Republic, bringing the Gossam Commandos into the Separatist Droid Army. The Gossam Commandos were made up of members of the Gossam species from the Colonies planet Castell, which was also known as Gossam. Shu Mai was the Supreme Commander of the Gossam Commandos.

They were not commonly seen in the Confederacy military around the start of the war. However, over time the Separatist Senate convinced many to join the Commandos and other corporate security forces, and by the Outer Rim Sieges were more often seen in combat. In 19 BBY, an entry on the Gossam Commandos was written by ARC trooper Muzzle and published in the survival compendium "Neyo's Almanac of Clankers."
