Holowan Mechanicals

Canon Legends version → Linked from 33 articles

Holowan Mechanicals was a division of Holowan that manufactured arms and droids. Together with Holowan Laboratories, it developed the controversial IG-series of enforcer and security droids and a line of assassin droids under Project Phlutdroid even though such droids were largely outlawed in the galaxy. The division perfected and manufactured electrostaffs to arm their IG-100 MagnaGuards with.

Between 2 BBY and 4 ABY, grand-engineer Lony Coleema of the Order of the Sight Voltaic was kidnapped by the assassin droid IG-88B and brought to the Holowan droid foundry, which was abandoned by that time. Upon waking up and seeing the state of the factory, Coleema assumed that the corporation was out of business.
